Cleaning Coats
Frequent brushing keeps the
fabric of a wool coat clan. Place the garment on a clean, non-slippery
surface such as a bed, or put it on a hanger and brush with one hand while
holding the hanger with the other hand. Open up the lapels and collar. Run a
finger along the surface of the fabric to determine the direction of the
nap, and brush gently against the nap to extract dust or lint. Brush in one
direction only, using long, sweeping strokes. Five minutes of brushing
should be sufficient. |
