Moisten a rag or sponge with
rubbing alcohol or mineral spirits to wipe away any windshield spots that
resist store-bought window cleaners. If the wipers are smearing the
windshield, clean them, as well as the windshield, with rubbing alcohol, If
this doesn't work, scrub the windshield with vinegar to remove possible
stubbom stains.
Sponge the inside of windows
too with vinegar to remove haze from plastic fumes in a new car. Rinse with
water and wipe them dry.
Black shoe polish may be
used to give tyre walls a rich finish.
